ARTLOG thrives on the contributions of its incredible community of art lovers, gallerists, museum professionals, and artists who make their work accessible. There are now over one thousand galleries and museums worldwide that manage their profiles on ARTLOG and many more thousands of artists and art lovers who submit shows to us. In recent months, our editorial team has ramped up coverage in the magazine and newsletters, going to great lengths to promote discovery and accessibility through our guides and features. Thanks to dozens of industry contributors and writers, we are expanding our reach dramatically. However, we have heard over and over from our readers that there is so much more to see outside of art fairs, festivals, and New York City.

Our small but energetic team has decided to experiment with a community-based solution. We are asking for members of our community to volunteer as City Ambassadors and share the best art in their area. It requires active participation in the local art community and on social media (Facebook and Twitter required). Here’s what we expect from City Ambassadors:

• A monthly list of local shows and artists to highlight
• One or two social media posts per week

And here’s what City Ambassadors receive:

• Joining a collaborative creative community from across the world
• Recognition on ARTLOG, as well as on our Facebook and Twitter
• A press pass for museums and events

We are calling for volunteers to form our inaugural class of City Ambassadors, spanning Brooklyn, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Cleveland, Austin, Santa Fe, Oakland, Tokyo, Mumbai, Dubai, London, and anywhere in between. Leave us a message on Facebook to get involved!
