Artlog, in partnership with Société Perrier, has the guide to the best of the fall gallery season in neighborhoods across Los Angeles. You’ll find background information on the shows and recommendations for the city’s top museum exhibitions, fall events, and places to eat and drink along the way. This is the second in an ongoing series of fall guides – the NYC edition is available here.

This fall, LA is making its case as a first-class art world hub, and our guide includes dozens of shows like Robert Therrien at Gagosian, Andrea Zittel at Regen Projects, KAWS at Honor Fraser Gallery, Richard Jackson at David Kordansky, Robert Irwin at L&M, and José Parla at Oh Wow. On October 1st, the Getty launches Pacific Standard Time, one of the most ambitious museum initiatives we’ve seen in years. Sixty institutions across Southern California will celebrate every major LA art movement from 1945-80. The art fairs have followed suit and on September 30th will launch a major fair weekend in LA, led by PULSE LA and the MMPI/Armory Fair’s Art Platform LA. Artlog and Grey Area also join the movement westward with a pop-up shop alongside PULSE at LA Live.
