Fahmida Alam
William Powhida continues his unique brand of art world commentary at Marlborough Chelsea with a site-specific project that includes the artist himself as an autonomous artwork. PPOW Gallery invokes occult experiences and ritualized revelations for its group show, while Aperture Gallery presents a solo exhibition of four works by Andrea Galvani, winner of the 2010 Exposure Prize. Also Thursday night, you’ll find late gallery hours and talks throughout the neighborhood at the second annual Chelsea Art Walk. Don’t forget to check our full calendar and, more importantly, go see some art!
