Equal parts graphic designer, filmmaker, and musician, Mills began his career nearly two decades ago and has since collaborated with figures like photographer Takashi Homma, musician Kim Gordon, and designer Marc Jacobs, as well as directing videos for musicians ranging from Air and Les Rythem Digitales to Yoko Ono. With Roman Coppola, Mills co-founded multidisciplinary production company The Directors Bureau to champion experimental and mixed-media filmmaking.
