Andrea Geyer creates image and text based installations, using both fiction and documentary strategies: often restrained, they have a sort of rich calmness to them that draws you into a consideration of layers upon layers of thought or meaning; a calmness that leads to a considered, embodied thinking on concepts such as national identity, gender, and class.
