Annette Messager

Known for her installations, French artist Annette Messager deals with ideas such as the role and status of women, normalcy, and childhood. Her work often includes, drawing, photography, and sculpture, creating surrealism-influenced spaces. At the 2005 Venice Biennale she won the golden lion. She currently has works on view at the Marian Goodman Gallery in New York City.
