Andrea Mary Marshall received her BFA from Parsons School of Design and has exhibited at Grey Area, New York, NY; Phillips de Pury & Company, New York, NY; Freight and Volume Gallery, New York, NY and Stephan Stoyanov Gallery, New York, NY. Her work has been reviewed in The New York Times, Scene Magazine, Smug Magazine, Artlog, Opening Ceremony, Hi-Fructose, PaperMag and StyleLikeU. She lives and works in New York City. This is her second solo exhibition with Allegra LaViola Gallery.

Andrea Mary Marshall’s Lip Service dinner series depicts the lips and vaginas of luminaries including Kim Kardashian, Marilyn Monroe, Tina Turner, Shirley Temple, and Madonna.
Andrea Mary Marshall has re-designed the current cigarette warnings and images that Mayor Bloomberg has successfully haunted (and then taxed) you with on the front of cigarette packets. Her warnings now read “OMG,” “Deliver us from evil,” “Have mercy,” “Holy smoke,” and “Forgive us our sins,” instead.
Using Marlboro Red 100 cigarette boxes as her literal canvases, Marshall paints on provocative symbols with acrylic paint in this series titled “Marlboro Mary.”
