Murray Moss closed up his internationally renowned SoHo showroom earlier this year, but you can still find his design sensibility in the upcoming auction of art and design objects he curated for Phillips De Pury. Moss has said that trips to Italy awakened his design obsession, and this 2007 piece is by famed Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini. Bellini’s Stardust sofa is upholstered with carbon-thread, stuffed with glitter-filled plastic pockets, and illuminated by LEDs.
