“Nearly every piece of artwork that I create √¢‚Ǩ‚Äù be it a painting or a print √¢‚Ǩ‚Äù starts with a thumbnail sketch. Some sketches might be the size of a postage stamp, drawn on the back of a bank deposit slip, others are larger and more fully realized, some are even dated with location noted and in a bona fide sketchbook. Whatever the case, each fans the spark that sets the creative fire burning, and many are used a multitude of times and in every media imaginable.”
