This year Aqua Art Miami will be returning to the Aqua Hotel where we first launched the fair in 2005. The hotel itself is a classic South Beach boutique hotel with breezy, spacious rooms surrounding an intimate courtyard that’s a favorite gathering spot to relax and socialize during Art Basel week. Aqua is located within walking distance of Art Basel, just south of the bustling Lincoln Road restaurant and shopping area. Many hotel beach bars and cocktail events are close by and the glorious beach itself is just a block away.
Based on the west coast, fair organizers have made it their mission to promote noteworthy programs in their region as well as the greater USA, with a particular interest in supporting young dealers and galleries with strong emerging artist programs. A number of new dealers have made their debut at Aqua, as well as other exhibitors and artists who have never shown at an art fair before.
