The Lower East Side Printshop invites emerging artists of all disciplines to apply for the 2010 Special Editions Residency. Between February 2010 and February 2011 recipients will collaborate with Master Printers to create a new body of work. The Printshop will provide materials, tools/equipment, studio access, technical assistance, exhibition opportunities, project documentation, limited travel and accommodation stipends for artists residing outside New York, and a $4,000 honorarium.

Applications must be postmarked or hand-delivered by December 2, 2009. No previous printmaking experience is necessary. Applicants must be legal US residents. For more information about the Printshop, the Special Editions Residency, and application requirements, visit www.printshop.org
