This exhibition presents some two hundred works from Latin American artists that have been added to the collection over the past ten years. The array of works from Latin America that the Museum has acquired in recent years embraces several artistic mediums and comprises a variety of styles. From early modernism and Brazilian neo-concrete art to geometric abstraction and political art, the exhibition consists of artworks by both historical and contemporary artists. Among those artists included in the exhibition are Joaquín Torres-García, Alejandro Otero, Hélio Oiticica, Lygia Clark, Willys de Castro, León Ferrari, Gego, Mira Schendel, Waltercio Caldas, Arturo Herrera, Victor Grippo, Guillermo Kuitca, Gabriel Orozco, Carlos Amorales, and Santiago Cucullo.
