“Temperature of Time” is contemporary Chinese artist Jiang Huan’s first solo exhibition in the United States, featuring his most recent oil paintings. A realist painter truly engaged with the traditionalism of his craft, Jiang Huan depicts women caught in a moment of contemplation that encourages the viewer to suggest their own narrative. The isolation of the painter’s subjects provide a breathing space in which we, the viewer, are captivated by the work’s intimacy.
