This is a summer show for an 1860 farmhouse in Sagaponack, New York, with a title borrowed from a 1968 performance by Jack Smith. While a number of works will be installed in the house, even these will have a relation to the adjacent garden, the swimming pool, and the woods beyond. Many works will be outdoors, including some by artists who don’t usually show in natural settings. Whether pre-existing or made for a particular room or location outside, all of the works will be considered as in-situ.
