Thabiso is recreating his status and sees documental surroundings in Brooklyn where he resides. He found Queen-dom in his neighborhoods has powerful and beautiful ladies who hold a status of authority. However, he pick the thin body structure of the modern women is influenced to become by the media and fashion. He started sculpturing wood pieces used poses inspired by Fashion models found in magazines because they have become sacred scripture of the fashion conscious.
Thabiso exposes his 22 virgin of wood sculptures in women figures and 13 drawings at Gallery SATORI. He named those sculptures with modern familiar such as Nakisha and Shakira because they represent modern day society.
