In October 2010, Dia Art Foundation and the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College (CCS Bard) inaugurated the first North American retrospective of the work of German artist Blinky Palermo (1943–1977). The retrospective is organized by Lynne Cooke, Dia Curator at Large, and will travel to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (October 2010–January 2011); the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (February–May 2011); then concurrently at Dia:Beacon and CCS Bard (June–October 2011).
