Harris Lieberman is pleased to present Behind the Green Door,
a group exhibition that examines the way artists relate to an element of contemporary culture specifically sex and fetish. The show borrows its title from the iconic adult film from 1970s, and will explore how artists play (inside and outside the studio) using material and content to focus on ideas of perversion, taboo, entertainment and excitement in their work.

As an extension of the exhibition, the rear gallery will be transformed into a video library where selection of mainstream movies selected by participating artists will be screened for the duration of the show, highlighting popular cultures influence on contemporary art today.
