The current exhibit, Satchmo’s Stuff: Highlights from the Museum Collection, will be on view through 2011 when our new Visitors Center, complete with a brand new state-of-the-art exhibit area, will open across the street from the Museum. Satchmo’s Stuff features the best and most interesting artifacts from our Collections, including Armstrong’s gold-plated trumpet, manuscripts, photos, clothing, and a sample of some of the collage work that Louis created in his spare time. The exhibit can be viewed before or after your historic house tour, during our normal hours of operation.
