DINNER PARTY: An evening with artist Omer Fast, winner of the 2008 Whitney Biennial’s Bucksbaum Award as well as the 2009 National Gallery Prize for Young Art in Berlin and Executive Chef Mark Ladner of the Michelin star restaurant, Del Posto.
Join us as we present, in partnership with artist John Monteith, our inaugural evening of DINNER PARTY…a series of dining events pairing leading chefs with important American and International contemporary artists.
This exclusive and highly interactive series invites a select group of artists exhibiting in New York to present their current exhibition to an intimate number of guests. Followed by a viewing of the show, guests will be invited to a small dinner party hosted in honor of the artist at one of New York’s premier dining establishments.
Bringing together a community of like-minded professionals, celebrating contemporary art and cuisine, DINNER PARTY is a place to interact with artists, chefs and fellow enthusiasts, sharing ideas while engaging each other creatively.
We’re thrilled to begin this series with award-winning artist, Omer Fast, with a cocktail reception and private viewing as he introduces his latest exhibition at Postmasters Gallery.
Following, join the artist as we dine in the luxurious private dining room of the highly acclaimed restaurant, Del Posto. We indulge with a specially prepared multi-course dinner, paired with select Bastianich wines, by Executive Chef Mark Ladner, who combines contemporary culinary sensibilities with the powerful draw of classic Italian dishes.
We end by toasting to the artist, chef and new friends in our shared adventure celebrating contemporary art and cuisine!
