Berlin-based painter Katherina Wulff’s small portraits work fromthe tradition of German figurative painting. Her figures, sometimes with unfinished mouths or eyes, are often eccentricly and highly styled. The figures are positioned against outdoor landscapes, and in some works dispensed with alltogether, leaving just cliffs, wispy trees, and rivers.
