This is the first museum exhibition on Long Island to focus exclusively on Video Art. The show includes artists who are pioneers of video art, who have lived or worked out on Long Island including Laurie Anderson, Burt Barr, Lynda Benglis, Jonathan Horowitz, Joan Jonas, Tony Oursler and Constance DeJong, Keith Sonnier, Andy Warhol, William Wegman and more. Co-curated by Lauren Cornell, Executive Director of Rhizome and Adjunct Curator at the New Museum, and Hanne Mugaas, Independent Curator.
