On Saturday, May 19 join ARTLOG and the Yale Club for an exclusive and intimate Chelsea event. The tour will visit five high-profile galleries in small groups to hear about new exhibitions directly from the directors.
The Chelsea gallery tour focuses on 21st street, which in the past year has developed into one of the most significant gallery hubs in Chelsea. The tour includes three of the blockbuster spring exhibitions: famed photographer Richard Avedon at Gagosian, Ernesto Neto’s wild installation at Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, and works by Claes Oldenburg and his longtime partner Coosje van Bruggen at The Pace Gallery. Participants will also stop at two well known galleries, Haunch of Venison, and Larissa Goldston Gallery, that have opened brand new spaces on the street. The tour will end with a champagne tasting from VITIS and chocolate from K. Chocolatiers.
