In Long Time, First Time, Ethan Breckenridge 's sculpture takes the proverbial elephant out of the room and into the office. Using glass, dust, plants, shelving units, florescent lights, mirrors, and office carpet, he constructs a hermetic world within the gallery. The material is easily identifiable but the space in his architectural structures is displaced.
