Sure you could watch it online later, but wouldn’t you rather enjoy the communal feeling that only happens with sports events, political debates or major disasters, of crowds watching a dying medium together in a bar?
This is the start of a regular TV showcase of NYC based artists produced by Louis V E.S.P. made possible by help from our friends at Vaudeville Park. Each episode is taped “in front of a live studio audience” with live primitive video effects processing and a rotating lineup of illustrious hosts.
For these “TV Parties”, Ian M. Colletti (Vaudeville Park) will be taking over the bar while Scott Kiernan and David McDaniel (Totally Wired, Life After Breakfast) DJ throughout the night. Artist editions will be on display. Live performances for each night to be announced soon. The bar has been kind enough to let us totally “take over” on these nights.
Episode #2 screens the following Wednesday, May 4th at 9:30 on channel 56 (Time Warner) / 83 (RCN).
For those that cannot make it out, the show will be available online after each screening and on VHS editions of 100.
