StandPipe Gallery, a new, emerging arts gallery at 150 West 25th Street, announces the opening of Yadir Quintana: Portraits. An MFA from the Yale University School of Art, Quintana’s haunting, luminous wall panels straddle the divide between photographic representation and aleatory abstraction. A frequent participant in New York area group shows, this will be the artist’s first solo exhibition. The show opens Thursday, February 3, from 6-8 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Runs through March 12.
