SEE // Where to Follow the Election
Jarrett Moran

First of all: if you haven’t voted yet, get out there and vote! What next? Waiting anxiously for the returns to come in is better with company, so here are a few ideas:

The New Museum
Jonathan Horowitz’s installation This Land Is Whose Land? offers a place to hang out and reflect on our politically polarized country, including two live television feeds and portraits of the candidates.

Grey Area
The group exhibition Americana invites artists to respond to the state of the nation. The show opens tonight with an election-viewing party (RSVP required).

Housing Works
The Housing Works Bookstore Cafe offers a comforting atmosphere, drink specials, and chili for watching the election returns come in. They’re open until midnight and (if it comes to that) possibly later.

City Reliquary
This wacky Williamsburg museum is throwing an Election Night Circus with beer from Brooklyn Brewery, DJs, and MSNBC streaming in the backyard.
