This month MUTE records released a new compilation by Slovenian industrial rock band Laibach, along with a double album of the group’s April show at the Tate Modern Turbine Hall.
Formed in 1980, Laibach is the music front for political art collective Neue Slowenische Kunst, which in 1991 established its own borderless nation-state and issued its own passports. Earlier this year, Creative Time included NSK in its traveling Living as Form exhibition. Even Žižek is a fan.
