With only a few weeks of summer left, beach days are more important than ever. Join Creative Time, Artlog, and Grey Area for an Artist Sand Castle Competition at Rockaway Beach on August 17. Fantastic artists like Tom Sachs, Dustin Yellin, Ryan McNamara, Snarkitecture, Jen Catron & Paul Outlaw, Jen DeNike, Ricci Albenda, Marie Lorenz, Mary Mattingly, Kenya (Robinson), Shelter Serra, Laura Wasserson & Amit Greenberg, and William Lamson will compete to create the most badass sand castle! After the contest, head to Rippers for an after party featuring music by DJ iDEATH.

Traveling by train? No need to go alone! Meet ARTLOG and Grey Area at the West 4th Street subway station at 2:15 p.m. Use the West 3rd Street entrance, where we will gather at south end of the platform and take the front car of the 2:26 p.m. A train toward Far Rockaway.
