This week, internet-based art gallery Saatchi Online launched 100 Curators 100 Days. This online showcase invites one hundred curators from around the world to each exhibit ten artists on the site for a day. The website, and particularly this project, grants exposure to relatively unknown artists. You can’t argue with the impressive list of curators, including Franklin Sirmans from LACMA, Peter MacGill from Pace/MacGill, Adam Budak from the Hirshhorn, Daria de Beauvais from Palais de Tokyo, Nina Miall from Haunch of Venison, and Claire Gilman from The Drawing Center, among others. The images above comprise the collection from the first day of the exhibit, chosen by Britt Salvesen, Curator and Department Head of Prints and Drawings at LACMA.
