Tonight the Whitney Contemporaries throw the American art museum’s annual Art Party, whose auction benefits the institution’s educational programs. Hosted at Skylight Soho, special guests include Olivier Theyskens, Denise Incandela, Bettina Prentice, and much-coveted DJ Japanster, who’ll be spinning music into the wee hours. Up for grabs are works by artists like K8 Hardy, Andrew Masullo, Max Snow, Liz Magic Lazer, LaToya Ruby Frazier, E.V. Day, and more. Online bidding has already concluded, but can be carried on in person at this evening’s celebration.
