This Friday, The Frick Collection will have a free after-hours open house complete with a live band to celebrate its trio of summer exhibitions (which consists of Antico: The Golden Age of Renaissance Bronzes; Gold, Jasper, and Carnelian: Johann Christian Neuber at the Saxon Court; and White Gold: Highlights from the Arnhold Collection of Meissen Porcelain). Take note, this is no PS1 Warm-Up or Brooklyn Museum First Saturday: in keeping with the collection, the headlining guest will be Asteria, the lute-playing Renaissance duo of soprano Sylvia Rhyne and tenor Eric Redlinger.
