Beginning today, Team Gallery will screen Santiago Sierra’s feature-length film NO, Global Tour, about a monumental sculpture of the word “NO.” After Sierra commissioned the piece in a bold, sans-serif font, he took the piece on a tour around the world and positioned it in a multitude of settings and situations. As the sculpture is lugged about by its trusty steed (a commercial truck), the effect of its invasion on various locales ranges from wonderfully comic to heart-achingly tragic.
