Twelve curators, twenty-nine artists, and 7,000 square feet of space: the fourth edition of Young Curators, New Ideas pulls out all the stops for its biggest iteration yet. Opening tomorrow at the Meulensteen Gallery in Chelsea, the event is organized by Amani Olu, the director of the Humble Arts Foundation who’s held the fest’s reigns from the start. Participating curators include Rachel Cook, Jenny Jaskey, Robin Juan, Larry Ossei-Mensah, Tiernan Morgan, Stephanie Roach, Legacy Russell, Ariella Wolens, Jordana Zeldin, Calder Zwicky, Susi Kenna & Tali Wertheimer, and Court Square. Heavyweights like Robin Juan, owner of Hungry Man Gallery, Stephanie Roach, director of FLAG Art Foundation, and Jordana Zeldin, director of ArtBridge, will also have a hand in the affair.
Young Curators, New Ideas will be on display through August 24.
