Amani Olu is the co-founder of photography non-profit Humble Arts Foundation, which just published the second volume of its Collector’s Guide to New Art Photography. Olu is also an independent curator – his shows include the annual Young Curators, New Ideas exhibition, Tuesday at Mixed Greens, and After Color at Bose Pacia, which is now traveling to Savannah College of Art & Design. Olu talks about getting started in New York, training his eye for photography, and building an online photography community.
